Scottsdale, AZ – Local Doctor Makes National Television Debut

From the Operating Room to Your Living Room

He puts people asleep for a living most days but you’ll definitely want to sit up and listen to what this local doctor has to say on January 17, 2011.  That’s when Scottsdale’s own Dr. James “Tad” Geiger will appear on The Balancing Act—airing on the Lifetime Network.
Dr. Geiger is already in Florida filming for the show, which will air on Jan. 17, from 7-8 a.m. ET/PT.
The Balancing Act is America’s only one-hour morning show about women and for women. It focuses on a variety of topics, trends, and tips including: health, family, finances, travel, pets, cuisine, beauty, fashion, and more. The show has also featured such notables as Evander Holyfield, Carl Brown, singer Danny Gokey, and reality show host, Jeff Probst.
Dr. Geiger will be interviewed by host Danielle Knox. Among other almost-miraculous medical secrets, he’ll reveal why he’s so fascinated by the field of aromatherapy and essential oils and what it’s like to be a doctor in the operating room. Whether he’s talking about a cure for nausea, insomnia, PMS symptoms, weight loss, or any number of critical health issues concerning women, the good doctor has all the answers you need for a naturally healthy life.

Dr. Geiger is a board-certified anesthesiologist practicing acute care anesthesia and clinical aromatherapy in Arizona, USA. Currently, he is on staff at several medical centers, orthopedic hospitals, and surgicenters where he has introduced therapy with essential oils into the operating and recovery rooms.

He advocates the use of nutritional medicine and complementary alternative medicine (CAM) in acute and chronic care hospitals.
The Balancing Act airs two shows on Lifetime Television back to back Monday through Friday 7 a.m. – 8 a.m. (ET/PT).
